If you are a foreigner...

...you go on the front of the line. This is the phrase which encloses the philosophy of England nowadays. The English government exaggerates for once again in its history to be followed by the fame of the most welcoming country in Europe for working immigrants.

Instead of looking in the past and the connection of Great Britain with its colonies, I will focus on the current policy of the government. As soon as the immigrants arrive in England, either in a legal or illegal way, they obtain rights. Speaking with local people, it can be easily understood that the situation is unbearable for them because the foreigners are being faced up with special treatment.

After my holidays in England, I understood better the way of life over there. Tremendous differences exist between the Mediterranean mentality and the Northern one. People live to work in terms of going out from house early in the morning when the sunlight hasn't arrived yet and returning back in the evening when sun is already...past. In smaller cities the life is peaceful with people gathering in houses to taste the food of the housekeeper on Sundays. In bigger cities and in the capital the way of life is more stressful, without colours.

All in all, it was a pretty interesting experience due to the fact of comparing the Mediterranean way of life with the Northern one. In this way we can appreciate our current everyday life.
